Paeonia lactifora 'Maestro' herbaceous peony PICK UP
Notable characteristics: "
Double. Dark red, with a faint purplish hue, the blooms do not glare and hold their color for some time. Being a double and a deep red, with much good pollen, this variety is fine for breeding. Side blooms may be flatter and more open. Three-foot stout stems seem to produce regular and plentiful blooms which are held well above the main bush."
