Paeonia, 'Double Bubble Pink' itoh intersectional peony

Notable characteristics: Flowers open a lavender pink and age to multi-toned pink infused yellow. Blooms are semi-double to full double and are set off well against olive green foliage. 

Cultivar group, hybridizer and year introduced: Intersectional peony, Don Smith.

Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Grows to 3' tall and 3' wide. 

Flower form and size: Semi-double to nearly full double, 4" in diameter.  

Flower fragrance: Light, sweet.

Bloom time: Late May to early June in USDA zone 6.

Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.


Plant size: Extra large 2 gallon container size plant. Likely to bloom next spring. Ships bare root.
