Notable characteristics: Dark pink blossoms seem to take on a more reddish cast as the flowers age. A vigorous and disease resistant cultivar rarely offered for sale.
Growth habit and size at maturity: Upright habit, grows to 4' tall and 4' wide.
Flower form and size: Heavy semi-double, to 8".
Flower fragrance: Spicy-sweet, slight.
Bloom time: Mid-season Japanese tree peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the second week of May.
Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: 1 woody stem with a proportional root system.
