Cultivar description: We received our original scion wood from the famous Grimo nursery in Ontario. They describe it as a heavy producer of medium sized nuts which crack out as both whole and halves. Our trees are still young, but have ripened nuts successfully over the last three seasons in cool zone 6 Connecticut. Nuts ripen for us in the first week of October.

Site Selection: Ideally full-sun location, but will also grow and fruit in dappled sun locations. Adaptable to a range or soil types.

Cultivation: Requires another heartnut for cross pollination.

Zone hardiness: USDA zone 6-8.

Plant size: Grafted tree grown in a 5" x 12" tree pot.

Shipping time: FALL 2025
