Variety description: A prolific producer of golden-yellow fruit in fall. Best pollinated by 'Jim Dandy' or similar male cultivar of winterberry holly
Site requirements: Prefers moist, acidic soils high in organic matter. In the winter winterberry holly in found on the margins of swamps, ponds and streams. Full sun to part shade.
Pests and diseases: None of concern. Plants will not tolerate alkaline soil.
Hardiness: USDA zones 3-9
Plant size: Own root shrub, grown in a 4" x 9" tree pot.
