Notable characteristics: Very late blooming 'Japanese' form flower with good fragrance. Vigorous growing plants to 3' tall and wide. Dark green foliage and strong stems make this a good selection for landscape planting. Also makes a fine cut flower. 

Hybridizer, year introduced: Marx/Rogers, 1978.

Growth habit and size at maturity: Tall growing, to 40" tall and 36" wide.

Flower form and size: Anemone 'Japanese' form, 6".

Flower fragrance: Light, sweet scent.

Bloom time: Late season blooming herbaceous peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the first week of June.

Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.


Plant size: 4-5 'eyes' or buds with proportional roots.
