Notable characteristics: Richly colored, deep, dark velvety-red flowers, 5" in diameter. Typically one bloom per stem. Has fragrance. A symmetrical mounding growth habit.
Hybridizer, year introduced: Anderson, R.F. / Kornder, 2008.
Growth habit and size at maturity : Upright and symmetrical, flowers held well above the foliage. Grows to 30" tall and 36" wide.
Flower form and size: Numerous heavy semi-double to double, 7-8".
Flower fragrance: Light and lemony.
Bloom time: Late season intersectional peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the first week of June.
Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: 4-5 'eyes' or buds with proportional roots. This size plant will most likely flower in its first or second spring in the ground.
