Notable characteristics: Single form flowers are dusty rose with yellow undertones and marked with deep rose veins. Crinkled flower petals are notched with purple inner flares. Stamens are fine and golden. A really beautiful combination of colors.

Cultivar group, hybridizer and year introduced: Lutea hybrid, Saunders, 1948.

Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): 3' tall and wide.

Flower form and size: Single, 5-6''.

Flower fragrance: Spicy-sweet citrus.

Bloom time: Late-season tree peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the first or second week of June.

Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.
