Paeonia, ' New Millennium' intersectional 'Itoh' peony

Notable characteristics: Stunning coral pink flowers are certain to be a subject of lust when in bloom. Well formed semi-double flowers are held well above the foliage. Excellent landscape specimen.

Cultivar group, hybridizer and year introduced: Intersectional peony, Roger Anderson, 2012.

Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Vigorous grower to 3' tall and 4' wide.

Flower form and size: Semi-double, 7-8" and upward facing. Flowers held well above and around the dark green foliage.

Flower fragrance: Light, sweet.

Bloom time: Late season, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the first through third week of June. 

Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.


Plant size: 4-5 'eye' with a well developed root system. This size plant will most likely flower its first or second spring in the ground.
