Variety description: A more compact grower than the straight species this highly variegated five-leaf aralia is good for hedges or naturalized plantings. Leaves are edible.
Flower and seed production much less than with the non-variegated form.
Height and Spread at Maturity: 6' tall by 6' wide, can be kept smaller with pruning.
Site requirements: Full sun to part shade. Does well in a variety of soil types. Grows in both moist and dry soil.
Hardiness: USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: Own root shrub grown in a 4" x 4" x 9" tree tube.
