Cultivar description: We received scion wood from for this tree from Red Fern Farm which rates this black walnut as "very large, thin-shelled nuts, 35% kernel, heavy bearing."
Size at maturity: 80' tall and 50' wide at maturity (100 years).
Site Selection: Ideally full-sun location, but will also grow and fruit in dappled sun locations. Adaptable to a range or soil types.
Cultivation: Self-fertile trees require little attention once established.
Zone hardiness: Hardy to USDA zone 5-8.
Plant size: Grafted tree grown in a 4" x 9" tree pot. Tree is about 2' tall.
