Workshop description: This in-person lecture and workshop will seek to educate participants on the science and art of grafting. We will begin with a powerpoint talk and Q&A that will cover the history and varied applications of this important plant propagation technique. Participants will then put their newfound knowledge to practical application, grafting two heirloom pear trees which they can then take plant in their own home orchard. 

* In-person workshop participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own pair of garden clippers as well as sharp knife for grafting.
