Cricket Hill Garden
White Lotus, tree peony, in 4 size variants
Notable characteristics: These tree peonies are crosses of the Chinese Paeonia rockii and Japanese tree peonies. They are one-of-a-kind, seed grown plants, and there is some variability in flower form and color. Most flower forms are semi-double, with mid-to dark purple flares at the base of the petals. The composite photo gives you an idea of the range of possibilities we have seen. We have them in 4 sizes, one for every budget. Many 2-3 year plants will bloom this coming spring, though they may take one more year to show good flower form. The older plants have more buds and branches and are more likely to bloom.
