Variety description: This early ripening cultivar is the result of a cross between the varieties 'Beurre Giffard' x 'Green Magdelene' made in 1956. This cultivar was introduced in 1980. The fruit is small to medium in size with bright yellow skin. The flesh is juicy, sweet, semi-butter, aromatic, good quality. Ripens June 20-25, keeps for 4-5 days. The trees are moderately vigorous, and late blooming. This cultivar has good resistant to scab.

Site requirements: Full sun location. Pears will grow in a range of soil types provided the planting location is well drained. Soil pH of 6.5 is ideal.

Hardiness: USDA zones 5-9.

Plant size: Grafted tree, 24" with strong central leader.
