Precious Lotus tree peony pair
Two seed grown tree peonies for those gardens who wish to embrace the diversity of the genus Paeonia. Since these plants are not clones like others we offer, no two will be alike in color shade and flower form. However, since these plants are 5-6 years old, we have seen them bloom and can guarantee that the colors will be accurate. This duo consists of a White Lotus and Pink Lotus. These peonies are desirable for several reasons; shimmering, densely fragrant flowers form vigorous, tall growing plants with finely cut foliage. In our garden they have proven to be tolerant of drought and moderate shade.
If you are looking to seduce, or be seduced, this is the tree peony pairing for you. These seed grown plants are crosses of the Chinese Paeonia rockii and Japanese tree peonies. They are one-of-a-kind, seed grown plants, and there is some variability in flower form and color. Both the white and the pink flowers have a distinct dark flare at the base of the petals. Flower forms are all open, either single or light semi-double.

About us: Cricket Hill Garden is a family owned and operated nursery founded in 1989 and based in Connecticut. We propagate and grow the vast majority of the plants we sell. Most garden centers and nurseries do the opposite of this, 'buying in' and reselling most plants they offer. Growing our own stock allows us to offer the rare and unusual plants we sell as well as provide the highest quality plants to the discerning gardener. We do not use synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fungicides in our nursery production.
