Magnolia stella 'Jane Platt'

Variety description: This light pink selection of star magnolia was selected by the fine horticulturalists at Glosser Farms Nursery in Oregon. Named for a mentor of theirs, this magnolia selection received the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the UK’s Royal Horticultural Society.

At maturity, this plant will grow into multi-stemmed bush or small tree, up to 12’ tall, with an open growth habit

Height and Spread at Maturity: 12' tall and 8' wide.

Site requirements: Full sun or part shade location. Will grow in a range of soil types provided the planting location is well drained. 

Hardiness: USDA zones 5-9.

Plant size: Grafted tree, 1-2' tall with strong central leader.
