Variety description: This cultivar resulted from a research program conducted by Center for Horticulture Research in Arslev, Denmark. The goal of the program was to produce varieties well suited for juice production. In its native Denmark, 'Samdal' it is considered an excellent variety and is planted in commercial elderberry fields. Sweet, flavorful berries are borne in large clusters. Bushes are very high yielding and easy to manage, producing new suckers each season which go onto fruit the following year. Old, two-year canes, should be removed in the early spring.
This is a 8'' cutting for rooting, not a plant. For information on growing your own berry bushes from cuttings, click here.
