Notable characteristics: Enormous pink flowers with lavender and violet inner tones. The Chinese classify this flower form as "thousand-petal", though we once counted and only found 347! Vigorous grower. Deer resistant. Herbicide, pesticide, and fungicide free. Grown in Connecticut.

Flower form and size: "Thousand-petal", double form, 8". Very floriferous cultivar.
Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Spreading habit, grows to 3' tall and 4' wide.
Flower fragrance: Deep and complex, sweet, with a hint of violets.
Bloom time: Late season Chinese tree peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the last week of May or first week of June.
Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: 1 year old tree peonies have 1 woody stem and a proportional root system. This size plant, with a complex flower, will most likely flower its second spring in the ground.
