Paeonia, 'Salmon Dream' hybrid herbaceous peony
Notable characteristics: Beautiful salmon-pink blossoms held on sturdy stems with deep green glossy foliage. Unique color that is prized as a cut flower. Excellent landscape peony. All around a great peony for your collection.
Hybridizer, year introduced: Hybrid, Reath, 1979.
Growth habit and size at maturity: Grows to 30" tall and 36" wide.
Flower form and size: Double, 6-7", borne on strong stems.
Flower fragrance: Lightly scented.
Bloom time: Early-season herbaceous peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the last week of May, first week of June.
Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: Two sizes : Field dug, bare root plants with 4-5 'eyes' or buds and proportional roots. This size plant will most likely flower a bit its first season. This size will be available again for Fall, 2022.
Larger size available as an older potted plant in a 2 gallon size with more buds and flowering potential.
