Variety description: This cultivar is a seedling of 'Early Golden,' one of the first American persimmons selected from the wild for cultivation. It will produce both male and female flowers, so it will pollinate other trees, as well as produce fruit as a single tree. Fruit are medium to large sized. Horticulturalist and rare fruit enthusiast Lee Riech recommends this cultivar as one of his favorite American persimmons.
