Notable characteristics: Vibrant coral-peach blossoms with peach overtones fade to ivory. Excellent grower and plant habit.
Hybridizer, year introduced: Samuel Wissing, 1965.
Growth habit and size at maturity: Grows to 36" tall and 36" wide.
Flower form and size: Semi-double, 6-7", borne on strong stems.
Flower fragrance: Green scented.
Bloom time: Early-season herbaceous peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the first or second week of June.
Zone hardiness: Proven in USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: 4-5 'eyes' or buds with proportional roots. This size plant will most likely flower its first season. 3 'eye' size will need another season to flower.
When we ship: Late fall/winter 2020 or early spring 2021 to USDA zone 4-9.
