Cricket Hill Garden
Davidia involucrata, ‘Lady Sunshine’ Dove Tree
Variety description: This slow growing and somewhat dwarf form of the species is grown as much for its spectacular marbled foliage as it’s ‘dove-like’ white blooms. Dove trees generally take many years to reach flowering age, and this selection is no exception to this rule. Best sited in a part shade location, as foliage is susceptible to burn in the full sun. Variegation remains bold and attractive throughout the growing season.
