Notable characteristics: Cream yellow petals radiate from the rich, golden center. Small red flares at the base of each petal add a dramatic accent to the glowing flowers. The hybridizer, A.P. Saunders, likened the flower shape of this peony to a camellia blossom. Strong grower with a tidy habit, foliage reaches the ground. Winner of the American Peony Society Gold Medal. This plant has been used by breeders to create advanced generation tree peony hybrids. Deer resistant. Herbicide, pesticide, and fungicide free.
