Notable characteristics: This French heirloom peony dates from the 1850s. For more than 160 years this flower has been grown in European gardens and sold in the cut flower market. Double form flowers are the richest shade of pink. Very fragrant blossoms make an excellent, long lasting cut flower. Large flower heads need some support in the landscape.
