Paeonia, silver pink hybrid seedling

These seedlings are grown from open pollinated seed of the pictured pink single peony. This plant is itself an open pollinated seedling of the Saunders cultivar 'Athena.' This plant is one of the most admired mid-season herbaceous peonies in our display garden. It is quite floriferous with strong stems, making for an outstanding addition to the landscape.

We expect these offspring, "granddaughters" of 'Athena' to be quite similar to the mother plant. However, because these seedling were open pollinated, this is not assured. Expect these seedlings to bloom in 2-3 years if given good care.
