You have found the right place if you like peonies, because we are madly devoted to these plants. The business sprang out of our desire to have more peonies in a larger garden setting. Beginning in 1988, we planted our first peonies and have expanded to about seven acres, creating a terraced woodland garden we call Peony Heaven. We enjoy sharing the beauty in bloom. Peonies are seductive and magical plants, and by far some of the largest and most beautiful flowers you can grow.

About Shipping Peonies
We will take orders and reserve your plants for the best planting time in spring dormancy. Depending on your USDA zone, your plants will be shipped at the right time for you to transplant during this time period. Warmer areas, USDA zones 6 & 7 will ship first in late March; our colder zones 4 & 5 get their peonies in April. We will not ship peonies to USDA zones 8 & 9 in spring, these orders will ship in fall, 2009.

Visiting The Garden
A trip to our garden/nursery will delight you. Our 7-acre garden, set in a terraced woodland, is open for visits beginning in April, weather permitting - Thursday through Saturday only, 10 am to 4 pm.
We have many peonies in containers, though not every variety we list on our web site is potted. If you are looking for some specific plants, it is best to call us in advance to inquire about pick up.
We have a good selection of tree peonies in 2 yr.-old, 4 yr.-old and older plants in containers, as well as herbaceous and intersectional peonies in 2 to 3 gallon size.
