Magenta-red flowers are upwards facing, 8-10 in., fast growing with numerous, densely fragrant blooms. Fall dormancy shipping, order and reserve. Luoyang City has been the capital of many ancient dynasties, and today is one of the major centers of peony cultivation. Growing 4-5 ft. tall and wide at maturity ( 10 years). Highly recommended as easy to grow. Two year old plants will bloom about 2 years after planting. One of our personal favorites. This plant can be shipped in dormancy in fall to USDA zones 4-9.
