Stock#: P5-3 Price: $79.00 Coral Terrace - Shan Hu Tai Chinese tree peony, 2-3 strong woody branches. An excellent plant, with intense color, that astounds visitors to our display garden. When this variety is in bloom, everyone wants one! Available for USDA zones 4-5-6-& 7 to ship beginning in March 2012. Plants for USDA zones 8 & 9 must ship before late Feb. 2012 for best success. Potted specimens also available for purchase at our nursery in spring 2012. Reserve early for first choice of stock. Orders are tagged as they are received. Luminous pink-coral color, each petal is scalloped and ruffled, forming a dense, 8 inch flower. When young, the flower form is a ruffled lotus shape. The color of the petals' edges lighten as the flower ages, giving a multi-shaded appearance. Delicately sweet fragrant flowers face upwards. Coral Terrace will bloom in the lotus form when young, maturing to the full, thousand petal form at about 5 years old. An excellent plant, growing to 4-5 ft. tall and wide at 10 years old.
