One of the best plants for starting a collection in a smaller garden as its habit is compact; growing to three feet tall and wide. It is one of the most fragrant Chinese tree peonies we grow! Many 6-7 inch flowers with a dense sweet fragrance, face upwards and to the side. Silvery-red buds, change to medium pink, double blossoms with silver-pink frosting. This age plant will likely need another year before flowering, though sometime they surprise us with flower buds early. >Will grow in USDA Zones 4-9.
