A spikey rose-pink color, with darker pink flares at the base of the petals, just 3-4 inches wide, but many cover the shrub in bloom. The foliage is wide and glossy and looks great well past summer. The shrub stands tall, reaching about 42 inches tall and wide. Prefers the full sun to maximize the flowers. Hybridized by F.Simone in the early 1990's. Prefers full sun, well-drained soil with added compost. It is a fast growing plant, growing to about 42 inches tall and spreading. In the fall, after the frost, it is cut down and returns each spring as a larger plant. Roots have 4-5 eyes, and are substantial and full.
