Callies Memory, 3-eye size intersectional peony
Stock#: ih-cm-2
MSRP: $99.00 Your Price: $85.00
Flowers first open a reddish-bronze-yellow, quickly changing to a clear yellow, with reddish flares at the center. It is fascinating to see it change over time, in a matter of days. This is another unusual intersectional peony, which is a cross between a tree and a herbaceous peony.

It is still rare and not widely seen. It was hybridized by Roger Anderson in the U.S. and we think it is a very worthy plant to have in any peony collection. It will grow in full sun, or 5-6 hours of sun, in well-drained soil. The flowers are large, 7-8 inches in diameter, with a light fragrance. It is a fast growing plant, height to about 34 inches tall and spreading. In the fall, it is cut down, to return as a larger plant every season.
Roots have at least 3 eyes, and are substantial, but will likely need 1 more year to bloom. Our plants are growing in a 3-gallon size ( 10" deep and wide) so do not compare to cheap plants grown in 4 inch pots.
>Will grow in USDA Zones 4-9. Limited stock on this item.Order and reserve for spring dormancy
shipping to USDA zones 4-7. Orders for warmer zone 8 & 9 are held for fall shipping.
