This fragrant American herbaceous peony received a Gold Medal from the American Peony Society for its wonderful color and form. Double flower with excellent stem strength, 6-7 inches in diameter. Large, anemone form flower, changing to a double form, blends cream, light pink and yellow in a most delectable combination. This flower is a must have for its honey-scented fragrance. Sturdy plant is a generous bloomer with strong 32" stems. Here in our Connecticut garden, it will bloom soon after the tree peonies, making it an early herbaceous peony blooming in late May-early June. Very sweet fragrance and a good cut flower.
