Very striking, rich magenta outer petals contrast with the frosted pink center. Densely fragrant, anemone-type flowers face upwards or to the side. Plants grow to about 34" tall. This is a very vigorous peony which continues to grow with the right care to produce 50 or more flowers as they establish in a few years. A real show stopper in our garden! As a general rule, herbaceous peonies don't bloom in zone 9, though we do know of people who grow them in areas of northern California.
