Created by the Roger Anderson, famous for his intersectional peonies. 4-5 eye size. Stock is very limited in 2012, order early. Double flower with good stem strength, 6-7 inches in diameter. What makes this flower so unique is its color markings. We have noticed that each flower on the same plant will be different! There are more or less red stripes, this flower shows an average bloom. Order and reserve early for fall dormancy shipping. Shipping to USDA zones 4-8. Very limited number available of this rare peony. As a general rule, herbaceous peonies don't bloom in zone 9, though we do know of people who grow them in areas of northern California.
